Support through the DLA
Our association is fortunate to benefit from the Dispositif Local d’Accompagnement (DLA), a free public program that supports nonprofit organizations in their development, organization, and in strengthening their impact on the local community.
Concretely, the DLA provides us with valuable time to step back and reflect on how we operate, identify our strengths, and explore areas for improvement. With the guidance of experts from the nonprofit sector, we work on key topics such as economic model, governance, volunteer engagement, and involving our users in decision-making.
This support is both a collective reflection process and an opportunity for transformation. It encourages us to think differently, share our ideas, and build projects that better meet the needs of our audience and community.
Our participation in the DLA reflects our commitment to openness and transparency. We want everyone — volunteers, members, partners, and local residents — to understand how our project is being developed and even take an active part in it.
Why is it important?
- For the association: it helps us better organize ourselves and sustain our actions over time.
- For volunteers and staff members: it provides a framework for reflection and collective learning.
- For our local area: it acts as a lever for cooperation with other stakeholders in the social and solidarity economy.
A collective approach above all
The Dispositif Local d’Accompagnement (DLA) reminds us that an association is, first and foremost, about people coming together around a shared project. Through this process, we aim to strengthen our ability to act collectively, listen closely to on-the-ground needs, and develop solutions that are both meaningful and sustainable.

The DLA is, above all, a shared journey. Throughout this support process, we have reflected together — staff, volunteers, and users alike — on how to strengthen LieU’topie and shape its future.
